The Speculative Fiction and Cultures of Science program was created to complement the strength of the Eaton Collection of Science Fiction and Fantasy in the UCR library. As one of the world's largest collections of science fiction, fantasy, horror, utopian literature, and other related genres, it has become a major resource for research in all aspects of speculative fiction for scholars from all over. Some collections at UCR are also available digitally, including the Catherine Clark papers and the Jay Kay Klein photographs on science fiction fandom.

Most of the journals listed include work published by our program's current students and alumni. The links below lead to their official sites but you can also double check through the UCR library for access. Some of the organizations listed under the Groups tab also have their own dedicated journals.
- MOSF Journal of Science Fiction
- Science Fiction Film and Television
- Science Fiction Studies
The following book series are edited by some of our professors.
Many of these groups hold annual conferences and publish their own journals. You can check their websites regularly for more information.
